Project Life

Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover

– Mark Twain

Life – the gift which you, me and everyone around you has been bestowed with, is limited. That might not come around as news, but we often get sucked up into the intricacies, rituals and responsibilities of life that we almost forget about this simple baseline truth that one day we’ll all have to say bye bye to Planet earth.

So, what really matters at the end?

I’ve been asking myself this same question a lot lately. Working long hours, racking up $$ in savings and building wealth, Is this all going to be worth it at the end? Given, you’ve totally forgot to do this one thing you were sent to do on earth? ie. “Live Life”. One thing I’ve had strong realizations about is that the only thing that’s going to matter at the end is how much life you lived, which cannot be measured by the number of years, but only by number of experiences. And that too, quality and memorable experiences.

So, here’s my bucket list of to-do things that I wish I experience before my time is up, and I’m calling it Project Life. Please feel free to ping me, in case we share our ideas around such experiences and I’ll be more than happy to organize and co-ordinate on these activities as a group. 🙂

I plan to undertake almost all or some of these activities along with my wife, brother and his wife.
